Q. What is KBI Flexi®-Pave made of?
A. Rubber, stone, and KBI’s proprietary binding agent.

Q. Can it be line striped or painted?
A. Yes. It can be pinned, striped or painted and car stops can also be installed the same as with traditional surfacing options.

Q. As the product weathers, can it be re-colored?
A. It does not weather like most materials but yes it can be repainted if necessary. Our paint coatings are durometer matched to our product to prevent lifting and chipping of surface colored installations.

Q. Is there a warranty for the product?
A. We have a one-year standard warranty and also provide extended warranties for maintenance and porosity.

Q. What colors are available?
A. We have 6 standard colors; however, custom coloring is available. Please see our website for color samples and customization options.

Q. What is the lifespan of the product?
A. KBI Flexi®-Pave if maintained and without mechanical damage can be a lifetime product.

Q. Is the sub-base standard washed rock typical of other pervious paving systems?
A. Yes. Compacted clean #57 stone used with woven and non-woven geo textiles.

Q. Is KBI Flexi®-Pave porous?
A. Yes. The products are manufactured using a nominal 3/8” rubber granule, which enables fast evacuation of water through its thickness because of the “open-pore” design. KBI Flexi®-Pave is capable of handling 4,000 inches of water per hour.
